As a Jupyter user, I love having multiple notebooks open at once and can easily switch between them.
I agree with Sujit's comment in the original post that it would be great if Databricks and Jupyter could collaborate on a better notebook environment. Or if there was an option to select which notebook type (Jupyter, Zeppelin) when creating a new notebook.
We are currently evaluating databricks as a potential opensource platform and this functionality is used regularly by myself and the rest of the team. This is a very important feature for us.
We are currently investigating this.
I see there was a response two years ago, has there been and movement on this? I regularly loop through variables conditionally creating graphs and output based on data type in Jupyter. This would be a helpful feature.
From the comments from Ali, it would seem this would be available but I haven't found any documentation on this yet.
